 Nursing for Hamsters
« Thread Started on Jul 26, 2009, 1:03am »

I saw this on the TV-news but did Not get the name of the town where it happened. Anyway, two baby hamsters were found without their Mother. The humane-society workers tried to use bottles to feed the baby-hamsters, but they did Not respond, apparently because of being afraid of the humans. So somebody got a bright idea and brought a stuffed toy-animal which is furry. The feeding-bottles were attached to the furry toy-animal, and now the baby-hamsters responded and drank from the bottles. Obviously, they now think the toy-animal is their Mother. Anyway, now they are happily feeding.
